THE WARNING RELEASES NEW CONCERT FILM “LIVE FROM THE AUDITORIO NACIONAL, CDMX”

Mexican rock trio The Warning has brought its electrifying live show to movie theaters nationwide with the release of its concert film Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX.

Recorded over three performances last February at the storied Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, the film captures The Warning performing for a combined crowd of 30,000 fans. More than just a milestone for the Monterrey-born sisters Daniela, Paulina and Alejandra Villarreal, the project documents the band’s rise from a local act to one of Mexico’s most visible rock exports. For fans unable to attend the theater screenings, the film will stream internationally in Mexico as well as Central and South America, expanding its reach to the band’s global audience.

Alongside the theatrical release, fans can also experience the show through an official live album. The recording, taken from the same Auditorio Nacional concerts, is available both physically and on streaming platforms. The dual release underscores the band’s effort to preserve and share its landmark homecoming concerts in multiple formats.

The project also highlights The Warning’s full-circle journey. Having grown up inspired by concert films themselves, the trio now adds its own entry to the canon, one that may similarly spark inspiration for the next generation of young musicians. Documenting their biggest hometown performances brings both pressure and pride, reflecting the band’s commitment to authenticity and ambition on stage.

The film and live album arrive in support of Keep Me Fed, The Warning’s latest studio release. Yet even with a demanding touring schedule, the band is already setting its sights on the future. Writing sessions have begun for their next record, with early ideas taking shape at home in Monterrey. While still in the earliest stages, the sisters emphasized their intention to take a patient, careful approach to the project, signaling a new creative chapter on the horizon.

With Live From Auditorio Nacional, CDMX, The Warning cements its position as one of the most exciting young rock bands to emerge from Mexico in recent years. The concert film not only celebrates a milestone moment but also offers fans worldwide a chance to experience the energy of a hometown performance on the grandest of stages.

Hi! My name is Ian, and I run all things Recently Played! I believe in putting a face to a name, so please take this time to get to know me!

I started this publication because music has always been a guiding light throughout my life. No matter if I am on the verge of either success or sorrow, the answer is music. Either lifting me higher than I already was or grabbing my hand, directing me to the end of the tunnel, I always turn to music. I craved an environment to discuss all things accustomed to it!
